  • Yarn in 2 colors; 8 mm safety eyes; embroidery floss; sewing needle; scissors; pins; fiberfill

Step-by-Step Instructions

    Head: start with 7 sc in a magic circle, increase to 49 sc, work straight rounds, then decrease. Make 2 big, 2 middle and 2 small external gills and sew them at the indicated head rounds. Crochet the tail from the body, add the tail fin, then make 2 arms. Make 2 legs, join them and continue the body; attach the arms and finish with stuffing and sewing.

Helpful Tips

  • Finished size is about 13 cm without the tail and 19 cm with the tail. Place safety eyes between rounds 15–16, 8 stitches apart. Keep the gills symmetrical.
